How can a Chicago politician appear clean? Invite someone even dirtier to a photo-op. Massoud Barzani, the president of Iraqi Kurdistan, is in Washington, where he has talked about the merits of his own unique form of democracy in meetings with President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and cabinet officials.

The speech of Leyla Zana in Hofstede Church

Delft- Leyla Zana gave a speech in Hofstede Church in Delft to exlain the new developement in Turkey regarding the Kurdish cause. She is prohibited from giving any statements to the press by the Turkish court. She also gave a seminar in the Dutch parliament, in presence of Dutch MPs, about the Kurdish opening.

Kurdish media in Europe

Amsterdam- Radio Curdonia organized al ive discussion about the role of Kurdish media in Europe. The guests were Zjir Rashan, co-founder and editor of the Dutch-Kurdish news site Azady.nl, and on the phone Hemen Abdullah, Editor in Chief of Rudaw's European edition.

Amsterdam- July 12th Radio Curdonia hosted Shaho Saeed, the spokesman of Gorran movement to talk about the program of his list and the new developements of the elections. 

Interview Dashne Murad: "No time for love"

Amsterdam- Dashne Murad was hosted in a live show of Radio Curdonia. Zana Alani unconventionally asked her questions about her life and work. Dashne Murad was known for her program "Be kontrol" on Kurdistan TV, from there on her career took off. She released then her first album after working with the known composer Halkawt Zahir.

Abdulmusawir Barzani: "Barzani is not a tribe"

Mr. Abdulmusawir is the cousin of the current KDP leader and president of the Kurdish region. He has been in conflict with KDP and his cousin since several years about the policy of the party and the tiranny of some members.

Election Discussion with Nabaz Goran, Mariwan Kani & Kawa Hassan

Amsterdam- Saturday 27th of June Radio Curdonia organized a discussion about the elections in South Kurdistan, with the famous criticus Nabaz Goran, Mariwan Kanie, a renowned writer and political scientist at Amsterdam university, and also Kawa Hassan political Analyst working for several UN agencies.

Interview with Presidency candidate Kamal Mirawdeli

London- Kamal Mirawdeli is a known Kurdish writer and MIddle-East specialist. He is born in 1951 in Qala Dizey, and left Kurdistan in the eighties. He continued his study in Engeland, and got an MA in Cross-cultural studies(1993)

Michael Rubin:" Kurdistan should be to all Kurds "

Washington- "Kurdistan should be to all Kurds and not only to two families". In an interview with Michael Rubin, AEI scholar, He gave his insight about the current political situation in Iraqi Kurdistan, the upcoming elections, oil contracts, Kirkuk, and the corruption.
